Hunt’s Pork and Beans recently concluded the first round of its Hunt’s Fun Day school tour where it brought loads of fun and excitement to select schools in Metro Manila.
Students were treated to a day of lively games and activities including a photo session, and an entertaining and educational mime presentation. Hunt’s also gave away lots of prizes like goodie bags and school supplies that the kids loved.
One of the crowd favorites was Hunt’s very special recipe of Little Cowboy’s Stew made with Hunt’s Pork and Beans mixed with ground pork, corn kernels and cheese. Kids and moms just kept coming back for more! Moms also saw for themselves how easy it was to make this yummy yet nutritious dish.

While Bangkok was partying with the likes of Alicia Keys, Good Charlotte, Kelly Clarkston and Hoobastank, a jam-packed party was happening right here in Manila.
Present during the Philippine Viewing Party was a mélange of local artists who were eager to take part of this worthwhile cause. Among those who took time out to join the fete and spend time with their fans were Cindy Kurleto, Mariel Rodriguez, Reema Chanco, Maike Evers, Kitchie Nadal, Retrospect, 2005 MTV VJ Hunt Finalists, 2005 Bb. Pilipinas Candidates and PBA personalities like Rafi Reavis, Gec Chia and Billy Mamaril.
The event featured both booths and rides, but what made the night exceptionally dynamic were the live performances from Out of the Box, Radioactive Sago and Kjwan. Games and raffle draws also added to the excitement as the anticipation was built up for the main event of the night – the live feed from Bangkok, Thailand.
The result was an overwhelming success. Thousands of people from all over Asia, including hundreds of Filipinos, joined as one to show just how much they care.
Chippy, the official barkada treat, jumpstarts the summer season with the second of its Gimikada blowouts for 2005, this time at the Flower Festival in Baguio.
The Gimikada bash in the country’s Summer Capital, which will be held in Session Road on March 4, 2005, will showcase some of the country’s hottest bands including Sandwich, Imago, Chicosci, Kapatid and Baguio’s very own Session Road, Zoom Zoom Lunacy and Brew Taterd. In addition, fun games and prizes await the audience.
Launched in September 2003, Chippy’s Gimikada has already gained a steady following after being staged in various venues, universities and colleges in Metro Manila and Bulacan. For 2005, Chippy joins the major festivals as its takes Gimikada to different parts of the country. This series started with a two-day concert during the Sinulog in Cebu, which highlighted such bands as Kjwan, Chicosci, Imago, Kapatid, Urban Dub, Smooth Friction and Malaya.
