Chippy, the official barkada treat, jumpstarts the summer season with the second of its Gimikada blowouts for 2005, this time at the Flower Festival in Baguio.

The Gimikada bash in the country’s Summer Capital, which will be held in Session Road on March 4, 2005, will showcase some of the country’s hottest bands including Sandwich, Imago, Chicosci, Kapatid and Baguio’s very own Session Road, Zoom Zoom Lunacy and Brew Taterd. In addition, fun games and prizes await the audience.

Launched in September 2003, Chippy’s Gimikada has already gained a steady following after being staged in various venues, universities and colleges in Metro Manila and Bulacan. For 2005, Chippy joins the major festivals as its takes Gimikada to different parts of the country. This series started with a two-day concert during the Sinulog in Cebu, which highlighted such bands as Kjwan, Chicosci, Imago, Kapatid, Urban Dub, Smooth Friction and Malaya.
