TV Commercial: Chippy Garlic and Vinegar
Here’s the television commercial of Chippy Garlic and Vinegar which features a young man auditioning for a part in some play.
Here’s a loose translation: “Chico Miranda is auditioning, and the casting director asks him to act: Startled, Angry, Entreatingly, Despaired.”

DEAR MR. GOKONGWEI
Congrats! your company ( universal corporation) making number one in fun snacks. esp. jack in jill from chips, candies to biscuits so very fantastic. Jack in Jill trade mark its so different and famous to all consumers.
B’cuz of that, I would like to request in your company. i know this is another gamble to you but i believed in you and your company and most of all the people behind in your company who always gave different ideas on how the products became number one to the consumers like chippy, lucky me,C2 and etc.
My Request is a ice cream brand that proudly pinoy made. from presto to tivoli and to presto tivoli. Now you can change from new label
universal robina introducing ” JACK IN JILL ICE CREAM” comes from different flavor classic/ speacial/ limited edition/ natural yogart flavor.
I know you can make this brand number one b’cuz i seen it in your two companies products . C2 vs. lipton and nestea ice tea. sun cellular vs. smart and globe. GOD BLESS!

chippy (barbecue) tastes different, and believe me, i can tell. coz i’ve been addicted to it since i was a kid. i loved the old chippy the one with more spices in it (1980’s to early 1990’s). now it tastes like crunchy cardboard. please bring the old chippy back. oh and was there a beef curly curls (or something that sounds like that)30 years ago? was that by jack and jill?
[From UniversalRobina.com] The light yellow one? That was Barbecue Curls. Thank you for your feedback!
