Universal Robina Corporation (URC) recently inked a Memorandum of Agreement with the Pasig City Local Government for URC's manufacturing plant in Rosario, Pasig.

The two parties were led by Pasig City Mayor Vicente Eusebio (seated, 3rd from left) and URC president and COO Lance Gokongwei (seated, 4th from left). Looking on were: (seated, L-R) former City Mayor Soledad Eusebio; Pasig City Councilor Andy Santiago; Rosario Barangay Captain Paul Jeffrey Santos; and URC Rosario plant manager Choy Bacsa. Also present were: (standing, L-R) Sitio Putol representatives Albert Castillo, Sotera Cruz, and Edisa Cruz; URC Legal Counsel Jane Flores; City Environment & Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Chief Racquel Naciongayo; URC AVP, Legal Victoria Beltran; URC EVP & Managing Director Pet Bautista; Sitio Putol representative Teresita Perez; Rosario Barangay Kagawad Angie Roldan; URC Corporate Pollution Control Officer (PCO) Josephine del Mundo; and head of Pasig City Legal Office Carlos Abesamis.
