Action and Color Explode in new Nips TVC
From Jack 'n Jill Nips comes a remarkably action-packed TV commercial (TVC) that brings the well-loved oriental martial arts movies to mind. Set against the serene and exotic backdrop of a Buddhist temple, a dramatic scene takes place, which highlights the unique, colorful and creative world of Nips.
Featuring some of the country's top young wushu athletes, the TVC is an awesome display of talent in more ways than one. Chelsea Bernasconi, silver medalist at the Asian Junior Wushu Championships is the amazing ninja girl. While multi-awarded wushu champion Arvin Ting is the monk boy who strikes, kicks and flies through the air.
Though armed with years of training and numerous wins, Chelsea and Arvin are first timers when it comes to being TVC talents and they actually got a “kick” out of the experience.
“I've never done something like this before and I never thought it could be this exciting. This is really an experience I wouldn't mind doing again if given the chance,” shared Arvin, the Sea Games gold medalist who idolizes the legendary Jet Li.
In the TVC, the young duo engages in a colorful and electrifying sequence that displays their exceptional skills and abilities. It is one power-packed and visual experience that would definitely spur the audience's creativity just like Jack 'n Jill Nips, which ignites and inspires the imagination of fun-loving kids everywhere with its rainbow of multi-colored candy coating and rich chocolate.
Even the creation process of the TVC involved a lot of ingenuity as the team worked with several special effects and computer generated images (CGI). This meant shooting against a chroma or a plain blue background and merely imagining all the elements and action required by the scene. It was a real challenge, but a fun one at that. And the TVC's director, Jeorge Agcaolli can attest to that.
“This Nips TVC is the most technical TVC I've done so far, since it uses CGI heavily and involves highly intensive lighting techniques with the help of our Director of Photography, Giboy Vistan. It also involves a lot of movement, a lot of action but we're lucky to have found such talented martial artists. So overall, it's been so much fun,” he said with a smile.
The latest Nips TVC is definitely a must-see as it not only showcases the imaginative world packed in every Nips, it also exhibits some of the country’s greatest talents in martial arts and in the entertainment industry. di ko nagustuhan kase parang inihagis ang nips, dapat ipinapakita kong pag kumain ng isang bata ng nips anong sustanysa at improvement sa kalusugan ang makukuha nila, as in pag makita ng isang bata kung paano ikinalat or ibinato sa mga banga ang nips baka magkalat sila. sa akin lang mas maganda ang settings nasa isang sasakyan ang family, tatay ang nag drive then ang nanay sa passenger seat the sa likod ng mga bata na nga kakagulo or nag lalambutsingan , then inabutan ng nips nanahimik sila the natulog at nakarating sa byahe the ginising nalang nips pa rin ang pinakita.
suugestions lang po ha, kase as a filipino na walang halong chinese ang commercial na ito ito ay pangchinese lang naman according sa mga nakikita kong graphics at costumes.

hi,
my 2 nephews love nips. when i was a child i loved nips too. now 29, i still can remember very clearly the old TV commercial of nips, the one with the jingle starting with the line "you wanna see what happens in a bad of nips?". as a child, i memorized that song because i loved it. i sang it to my nephews and they loved it too, they would often request that i sing it so they can sing with me.. i have done some searches on the net in the hopes that i can see a copy of the commercial so i can show it to them, but to no avail. i do know that they will love the commercial if they see it. and i know this is a long shot but maybe, URC can consider using the commercial again, but improve the production like make it a 3D cartoon. as i remember it was a basic cartoon commercial.
just a suggestion.

i did see the commercial...but it wasnt that good,(for me) maybe it was because of the voice? but the graphics good..
and yeah, i kinda prefer the cartoons, but hey the kids did a great job, very talented indeed, =p...

You should also post a picture of Chelsea Bernasconi "The Wunderkind". Also please include the awards of Chelsea whom I am proud of. The commercial is nice, but just nice. IF i were to score it you got an 8! =)

Nips yes nips Nips (candy-coated chocolate with mini versions and peanut and crispies variants) ,about the commercial its, chinese movie inspired , timely kasi malapit na olympic game sikat na yan lalo.

mas gusto ko parin yung dating commercial ng NIPS noong kapanahunan ko (hoy 26 palang po ako! hehehe!) yung "i wanna see what happen in a bags of nips..." alam nyo paba yung song na yon??? hehehe! mas tumatak sa utak ng tao ang song na yun! sarap ngang magreminisce eh...

The guy is Arvin Ting, he is the best player in Philippine team, he won so many metals including world champion. He did a good job in this commercial, if someone ask me to choose any athletes from the federation, I will undoubtedly say "Arvin ang pili ko!" Arvin, we are so proud to have you here.

the commercial maybe good,but it doesn't sink in the minds of chlildren or even adults watching it.I just want to say that mas memorable ang dating commercial ng nips,imagine I am 29 na pero i still sing that song of nips.And it's really a good song ti always sing it to my students and kids.
