Television’s newest heartthrob TJ Trinidad, who stars opposite Kristine Hermosa in ABS-CBN’s hit drama series Gulong ng Palad, describes his dream girl in detail in the latest commercial of Jack ‘n Jill Tivoli chocolates.

“I’m not picky, I just want someone nice, smart, has long curly hair with blue highlights …she’s into cross-stitching, has a cute mole on her left cheek…and girls with guys’ names!” says TJ in the Tivoli television commercial (TVC).

In the TVC, a girl nicknamed “Bong,” who is watching TJ on television, realizes that she fits his idea of a “dream girl.” She immediately seizes the opportunity, and chases her supposed destiny. Thus, the succeeding scenes that transpire range from the romantic to the downright hilarious.

“We’re actually looking at the funny possibilities that could happen if a fan finds out that she fits TJ’s descriptions of a ‘dream girl,’” shares director Matthew Rosen. “The commercial will definitely elicit laughs from the viewers.”

All in all, Tivoli’s “Dream Girl” TVC is a lighthearted and comical piece. It has interesting twists and sensational quips that can put the audience in a jolly mood, just like a pack of Tivoli chocolate selections—whether in bite-sized form or in bars, every bite of Tivoli will surely put a smile on anyone’s face. Indeed, Tivoli is a treat you gotta repeat!

The infectious lighthearted-ness of the commercial was also felt on the set, with the jovial actors and crew constantly exchanging chuckles and hilarious jokes. Even TJ, who is normally seen as the pensive Carding in Gulong ng Palad, was in high spirits during the shoot.

“This is my first product endorsement as an actor (after doing numerous TVCs in the past as a model), and I had loads of fun,” TJ enthuses.
