Liven up a sizzling summer with the C2 Live Life Series
C2 Green Tea recently launched its Live Life Series: Summer Escapades at Fuente Circle, Eastwood City. Summertime was really in full swing as partygoers gathered to enjoy health and fitness talks, fun activities, and groovin’ sounds.
For expert advice on looking one’s best this summer, C2 brought in US-certified nutritionist and fitness pro Nadine Tengco. A trusted consultant to some of Manila’s beautiful people, Tengco explained some basic facts on metabolism and body chemistry, and how to achieve an optimum level of fitness that would help you burn fat more efficiently and maintain your best figure. “It’s not about following a rigorous diet or denying your cravings,” she shares. “It’s really about listening to one’s body and working with it. Instead of being driven by guilt and letting food control you, you need to be sensitive to what makes your own body work at its best, and then discover the right food balance to maintain that.”
More tips on getting in shape for the summer season followed with exercise demonstrations from the instructors and specialists of Fitness First. And for some pleasurably healthy eating, chef extraordinaire Michelle Dinglasan showed guests how to whip up some easy, scrumptious dishes. Her tempting salpicao is the perfect fare for a summer feast – deliciously gratifying but without all that unwanted fat!
Aside from the lectures and demonstrations, C2 drinkers were also treated to free wellness services, such as Euro-massages and physical check-ups courtesy of the Borough Medical Center.
After the fitness and wellness program, it was time to party with smooth rhythms from trip-hop sensation Drip and the trendiest club beats by top DJ Erwin Edralin. Thrilling exhibitions by fire dancers added spark to the sultry night – all in all, a lovely evening to start off an exciting summer!
The C2 Live Life Series: Summer Escapades opened the season with parties at Bantayan Island in Cebu, Panglao Island in Bohol and in Boracay. It will continue its fun-filled festivities at the Chill Out Bar and Paradiso in Boracay on April 13 and 14; White Rock, Subic on April 28 and 29; Mindara, Puerto Galera on April 28, 29 and 30; Paradise Resort, Davao and San Juan Resort, La Union on April 28 and 29. Guests will have the chance to win vacation packages to Boracay, Subic, Puerto Galera and Palau, Micronesia. The grand prize winner will be announced during C2′s Friday Magic Madness in Eastwood City on May 4. Just avail of the premium items at the C2 booths in these venues for a chance to enter the raffle.
