Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu is best remembered as the first big winner of “Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition,” where she bested 13 teenage housemates. A Chinese-Filipino, Kim was never nominated by her housemates for eviction because of her sense of humor, positive disposition and sportsmanship. She was also one of the early bets of the viewers to win. True enough, Kim emerged as the top winner in the reality show, raking in 41.4% of the total votes from televiewers.

Life after “PBB: Teen Edition” took an uphill swing under her parent network ABS-CBN. She appeared in various programs together with fellow PBB housemate Gerald Anderson.

Kim and Gerald appeared in numerous shows on ABS-CBN, bagged several commercial endorsements, and appeared in their first movie, “First Day High.” They marked their first anniversary in show business via their first starring movie “I’ve Fallen for You” under Star Cinema.

In 2007, Kim starred in her first primetime TV series, “Sana Maulit Muli,” where she was once again paired with Gerald. The high rating series was followed by another telenovela, “Tayong Dalawa”. Today, Kim appears regularly in the Sunday noontime show ASAP.
