URC teams with WWE® Superstar Batista™ to launch Xplode brand
There is no better spokesperson to personify the brand Xplode than World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE®) Superstar Batista™.
Exceptionally strong, highly intense, and extremely charismatic, Batista has held the WWE Championship once and the World Heavyweight Championship on four occasions. In addition, he also won the World Tag Team Championship four times and emerged as the winner of the 2005 Royal Rumble match.
Being half-Pinoy, his pride in his Filipino heritage is evident with his Filipino flag tattooed on his left arm. “My grandfather is a Filipino. He was a very hardworking man with a strong work ethic and he took pride in his craft. I inherited those traits and they have helped me achieve success as a WWE Superstar. I have always credited these characteristics as coming from my Filipino culture. I value the connection and pride we all share,” he explains.
Batista adds, “The Philippines is a special place for me. Filipinos have always embraced me and accepted me from the beginning. I will be forever grateful to my fans in the Philippines and I’m proud to represent them.”
Having all these extremely powerful and Pinoy qualities, Batista was chosen by Universal Robina Corporation (URC) to be Xplode’s ambassador as he embodies the ultimate action-packed energy that this drink is all about.
