February 16, 2005: "Go Loopy Over Hot Loops"

A line-up of tempting tastes and sweet surprises was unveiled to the public as Hot Loops Donuts opened its first two dine-in shops last December at the annex of Robinsons Place Pioneer and 4th level of Robinsons Galleria.

Owned and operated by one of the largest Filipino conglomerates JG Summit Holdings Inc. (JGSHI), Hot Loops Donuts brings to the fore an all-time favorite treat, created with superior taste and premium quality in mind, yet sold at a price that is easy on the pocket.

“We are continuing the JGSHI tradition of making premium products available to a greater number of people through affordability plus a wide distribution coverage,” said Hot Loops General Manager Bobby Go. “In a few months’ time, people will have no difficulty finding Hot Loops Donuts in GMA.” Soon, Hot Loops will also make its goodies available in Robinsons Supermarkets and Big R outlets across the metropolis.

In taste and texture, Hot Loops creations are guaranteed to delight even the most discriminating food connoisseur. “Hot Loops donuts are made with a secret recipe that ensures superior quality and freshness,” Go stated. For its dine-in shops, the donuts are baked in plain sight inside the store, offering customers a feast of sights and scents.

Moreover, these freshly-baked goodies come in an assortment of delectable flavors -- the classics, which include Choco-Lickety, Strawberry Good, Strawberry-Filled Forever and Bavarian Dream, are combined with novel, exciting varieties such as Peanut Better, Caramelt-in-your-Mouth, Choco Caramel Crunch, Choco-Nutty Rush, Original Sin (Apple Cinnamon), Cheesecake and Vanilla Crumble

“A lot of our new, original flavors are being offered – or will be offered -- to the Philippine market for the first time,” said Go.

“Our array of flavors not only connote innovativeness, but also loads of fun for the whole family. This is likewise evident in our logo, our store’s interior and our packaging, where we made use of animated, ‘merriment’ colors and designs,” he added. Swathed in lively red, green and creamy yellow gold, embellished with hanging lamps as well as donut-shaped chairs, the Hot Loops shop is reflective of the brand’s wholesome, fun, dynamic and rather avant-garde personality.

“There’s a ‘hole’ lot of fun going on at Hot Loops,” Go promised. “We invite all donut lovers to try all of Hot Loops’ delicious flavors, concocted especially for the enjoyment of the Filipino palate.”
